Why does any "christian" organization criticize the government?
This is beyond my understanding. I'm dumbfounded and would very much like the following explained:
How can you condemn, criticize and denounce the very organizational foundation (US government) that provided you the mechanism you used to create your organization?
My premise is that the "government" or United States Constitution provided your organization freedoms and opportunity to grow and thrive. It provided you with decades of protection and defense; thereby aiding your very foundations.
You weren't alone. The constitution has provided this environment for all religious organizations and beliefs. It protects all people. That's democracy. The "common" defense and the "general" welfare does not mean specifically and singularly your organization. It does not promote one single belief. It promotes all beliefs. I'm sorry if they are not yours.
It means we all contribute to the common good, whether we like it or not. That's the price we all pay for our freedoms. Indeed, I believe the more you reap, the more responsible you are for that reaping.
Now you turn on the US. You join with right wing anti-government folks and their never-ending whining over contributing what is less than their fair share.
That's sad.
Try sowing something nice.
